I Wish This Was was created by artist/planner Candy Chang in November 2010. She created the fill-in-the-blank vinyl stickers to be placed on vacant storefronts so that passersbys could write their thoughts. Being a resident of New Orleans she realized, “What if we could easily voice what we want, where we want it? How can we influence the businesses and services in our neighborhoods?” Photos from the project can be viewed here. Stickers can be purchased here.
